Do I need any jewelry experience?
None. Most of our designers had never made a piece of jewelry before they joined. There is no welding involved, your collection comes with practice bracelets, and your free PermaLinx Pro certification walks you through your first appointment step by step.
What does it cost to get started, and are there ongoing fees?
You start with one of three collections: $175 for PermaLinx, $175 for jBloom, or $325 for the Perfect Pair. That is your business in a box.
There is a monthly business suite fee for $12.99/mo or $17.99/mo if you would like to add the newsletter. This covers your personal jBloom website, your back office and your marketing tools. Your first month as a designer is free!
How and when do I get paid?
You earn 30 to 40 percent profit on your personal sales, paid weekly by direct deposit. As your business grows there are bonuses and team earnings on top of that.
Do I have to carry inventory or hit a monthly minimum?
Your initial inventory comes in your starter collection. From there you can choose to pre sell and order as you go, or purchase additional stock to have on hand for future customers. There are no monthly minimums.
Can I sell more than just permanent jewelry?
Yes, and this is one of the biggest differences between jBloom and a permanent jewelry only business. Every designer can sell all three lines: PermaLinx permanent jewelry, personalized jewelry and fashion jewelry. One customer, three reasons to shop with you.
How does the no weld process actually work?
Instead of welding a chain closed, PermaLinx uses a jump ring and screw system you close with a small screwdriver and pliers. No torch, no sparks, no safety equipment and no outside certification. It won the Direct Selling Association’s Innovation Award, and it is why a new designer can be ready to book in a weekend.
Where do I actually sell?
Wherever people are. Pop up shops, boutiques, markets, girls nights, fundraisers, bridal parties, team events and your own kitchen table. You also get a personal jBloom website so people can shop from you any time without you being there.
What kind of support will I have?
